The property was renamed from Barbary Coast Hotel and Casino on March 1, 2007, after it was sold to Harrah’s Entertainment by Boyd Gaming Corporation in a swap for a 24 acres (9.7 ha) parcel next to Boyd’s Echelon Place project, the replacement for their Stardust property.
Bill’s includes three restaurants, The Steakhouse at Bill’s, the Victorian Room, and Drai’s. The management team from the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino runs the property’s day-to-day operations.
The name is taken from Harrah’s founder Bill Harrah.
Although the property doesn’t participate in Total Rewards, the Property now has Diamond Tier of its own program that allows members to visit any Las Vegas Total Rewards Casino as they would if they were Diamond Total Rewards member and share the same perks as Total Rewards Diamond.
